Sweet Potato Chips

I wanted to recreate that sweet and savory taste...!

The original photo was ugly, so I retook it.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Sweet potatoes
●Butter or margarine (salted)
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
2 pinches
to taste
Vegetable oil
as needed


1. Combine the ● ingredients in a bowl. Melt butter in a microwave. Set aside. Add salt while checking the flavor.
2. Cut the sweet potato into thin slices and wash. Drain, then deep fry for only a moment (this is important).
3. Add the hot sweet potato to the bowl from Step 1. Shake the bowl up and down to toss the sauce and the potato, and it's complete. Adjust the flavor with sugar at the end.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love the salty butter flavor of "Osatsudoki" snacks, and wondered if I could recreate it at home. I gave it a try and my family loved it.☆
