Easy 5-Minute Maitake and Cucumber Side Dish

This recipe won't even take 5 minutes. It's so easy and delicious that it's almost too good to be true. My husband is delighted whenever I serve this to him as a drinking appetizer.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Maitake mushrooms
1/4 bunch
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
2 teaspoons


1. Lightly sauté the maitake in sesame oil, then set aside to cool for a bit. Thinly slice the cucumber into rounds, then lightly sprinkle with salt.
2. Combine the cucumbers with soy sauce and the maitake, and it's done! (If you have extra time, chill it in the refrigerator before serving.)
