Warmed Tofu with Thick Ginger Sauce

How about this warm tofu dish when the weather gets chilly? It's also good if you're watching your weight.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Silken tofu
1 packet
Ginger
1 teaspoon (grated)
☆ Katakuriko
1 tablespoon
☆Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
☆Sake
2 tablespoons
☆Mirin
1.5 tablespoon
☆Bonito dashi stock
200 ml
Scallions
to taste

Steps

1. Cut the tofu to preferred size. Cook gently in boiled water for 2~3 minutes. Drain in a colander lined with paper towels.
2. Combine the ☆ ingredients. Pour into the saucepan. Heat gently and stir well until thickened. Add the ground ginger and stir well. Pour the sauce over the prepared tofu. Garnish with chopped scallion and serve.
