Easy Turkish Cooking! Zucchini & Cheese Fritters

How about eating zucchini this way? This dish is easy to prepare and works really well for breakfast, as a side-dish, snack, or something to go with your beer!

Ingredients: 4-5 servings

300 g
Shredded cheese or finely sliced cheese
120 g
Plain flour
3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Vegetable oil
as needed


1. Julienne the zucchini with the skin on.
2. Add the egg, shredded cheese, and flour to the zucchini and give it a quick mix. Before cooking, adjust the flavour with salt and pepper and mix once more.
3. To make each fritter, take a small amount of mixture and cook it until golden brown in a frying pan greased with oil.
4. Base the size of the fritters, cooking time and cooking method off what you would do to make hamburger patties for bentos. You can make around 15 fritters so try doing them in 2 batches.
5. I tried making these with potatoes instead of zucchini.
