Shrimp With Mayonnaise

Fresh and Tasty Shrimp with Mayonnaise Sauce. No-Fuss Simplicity.

Ingredients: 3 to 4 servings

Shrimp (8 to 10 cm unshelled)

Preseasoning: Salt, pepper, sake

■ Mayonnaise
5 tablespoons
■ Milk
1 tablespoon
■ Ketchup
2 teaspoons
■ Chicken stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
■ Sugar
1/2 teaspoon
■ Salt and pepper
A small amount
As needed
Vegetable oil
As needed


1. Remove the shells and tails from the shrimp. Remove the inner and outer veins, rinse, and wipe off excess water. Pre-season with salt, pepper, and sake, and let sit. Boil the asparagus, cut into quarters, and drain well.
2. Thoroughly mix together the ingredients marked with a ■ .
3. Coat the shrimp from Step [1] in katakuriko. Heat a slightly generous amount of oil in a frying pan, and fry the shrimp on both sides.
4. When the shrimp are cooked through, absorb excess oil from them by patting them with a paper towel, then add he boiled asparagus.
5. When the asparagus is well coated with oil, turn off the heat, and briskly stir in the sauce from Step 【2】.
6. Transfer to a serving plate, and serve.

I wanted to just whip up some shrimp with mayonnaise sauce, so I came up with this recipe. It's easier if you prepare the sauce in advance.
