Simple Pancakes

Simple Pancakes

I love these pancakes.

Ingredients: For 8 6 cm pancakes

Sugar (I recommend raw cane sugar)
15 g
a pinch
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon (about 7 g)
◎Whole wheat flour
50 g
◎Cake flour
30 g
◎Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon

1. Mix together all the ◎ ingredients with a whisk.
2. Beat the egg in a bowl and mix in the ingredients from the sugar to the honey in the order listed above.
3. Sift the ◎ mixture into the bowl from Step 2 and mix together. Now the batter is ready. Let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
4. Heat a non-stick pan and pour 6 cm circles of batter into the pan. Fry both sides. When the batter looks a little dry, flip it over. This size is just a suggestion, so make them as big as you like.
5. Top with your favorite jam, syrup, or butter (not liste) to finish.
6. Optional: Mix cottage cheese or cream cheese with your favorite jam.
7. Optional: serve as sandwiches!

Story Behind this Recipe

Step 8: I love eating cottage cheese mixed with jam, so I made this. This week's theme is pancakes, so I thought I'd try this combination.
