Easy Okara Cookies!

I wanted to make a simple, easy, delicious, healthy, no-guilt snack that everyone would love!
It's a super-chewy cookie!
If you don't preheat the oven, the cookies will be soft-baked.


Fresh okara
100 g
Whole wheat flour
60 g
3 tablespoons
30 g
1/3 teaspoon


1. Mix together all the ingredients and form bite-sized balls with your hands. Bake in an oven at 160℃ for 30 minutes.
2. I changed the whole wheat flour to regular flour and the honey to 2 tablespoons of sugar.
3. It's really crispy and chewy this way! Check the moisture and if needed, add about 1 tablespoon of milk.
4. Or roll out thinly on a cutting board, cut with a knife, and bake.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love okara cookies, but got annoyed when the dough would get too dry, so I tried using fresh okara and created a cookie that's surprisingly great for dieters!

It's really chewy and great for your digestion!
