Authentic!! Soft Almond Tofu from Kanten

A thick almond jelly that doesn't use heavy cream.
Tastes just like the real deal!!

Ingredients: serves 4

Chinese apricot kernel flour
25 g
250 ml
35 g
◎Powdered kanten
little more than 1/2 teaspoon
200 ml


1. Put the almond powder in a pot. Without heating, slowly add water while mixing. Dissolve well.
2. Add ◎ ingredients and heat on medium while mixing. Don't let it become thick. Add milk and continue mixing. Stop it just before boiling.
3. Strain the mixture from Step 2, and transfer into containers of your choice. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Once it's hardened, it's complete.

Store-bought Chinese almond powder is often not very aromatic or tastes weak...
So I made this authentic almond jelly with a powerful almond fragrance.
