Beef Rice Bowl with Sticky and Fluffy Minced Okra

Beef Rice Bowl with Sticky and Fluffy Minced Okra

Minced okra is sticky and fluffy. It mixes well with beef and is delicious.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Beef (thinly sliced)
200 g
2 teaspoons
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
1 big thumb-sized piece
Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 rounded teaspoon
1 teaspoon
Quail eggs
a few drops

1. Cut the tops off the okra and chop up roughly. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and lightly coat with katakuriko. Julienne the ginger.
2. Pour sesame oil in a pan, add the ginger, and turn on the heat. When it becomes fragrant, add the beef and stir-fry.
3. When the beef has browned all over, add the oyster sauce, soy sauce and honey all at once, simmer and mix well. Add the okra, stir-fry briefly, and it's done.
4. Serve some cooked rice in a bowl, and add Step 3 on top. Break in the quail egg in the middle, sprinkle a few drops of ra-yu (it will add spiciness and bring all the flavors together), and it's done. Mix everything together and devour!

Story Behind this Recipe

The stickiness of okra goes well with meat, so I came up with this recipe.
