The Matsumoto Family's Dry Curry

The Matsumoto Family's Dry Curry

When it's wet and humid outside, I suddenly want to eat this!!!
My son also loves this. He cleans his plate every time! You can make this in a short amount of time, so I recommend making this when you are busy.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Ground pork and beef
200 g
Frozen mixed vegetables
as needed
Green raisins
as needed
Japanese curry roux
2 blocks
80 ml
for frying

1. Finely chop the onions (coarsely chopped is fine).
2. Saute the onions until they become semi transparent, and saute the ground mixed meat until it browns completely.
3. Turn off the heat, make an indent in the center, add water and curry roux in the hole, and break up the curry roux while soaking to dissolve.
4. Evenly mix throughout, turn the heat back on, add the mixed veggies and raisins, evaporate the water a bit, and it is done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw this in a money-saving recipe book before... but making this with different vegetables is interesting, and replacing the ground meat with tuna is also really good!! This is great for when you don't want to go shopping on a rainy day.
