Easy Meatballs in Sweet and Sour Sauce

These are easy meatballs that you can make with your food processor. They're so soft, even your kids and elderly folks can enjoy them as well. They're a staple in our household!

Ingredients: 3 servings

Ground pork
300 g
Preparation and Seasoning for the Pork
Sake
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
Pepper
a small amount
Egg
1
Water
1 tablespoon
Katakuriko
2 tablespoons
Sweet and Sour Sauce
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Sugar
3 tablespoons
Vinegar
2 tablespoons
Sake
2 tablespoons
Water
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Throw the ground pork and all the Preparation and Seasoning ingredients into your food processor and mix.
2. Round the seasoned pork into bite-sized balls, and coat with katakuriko (not listed).
3. Fry for 5 minutes or so in oil heated to 170°C ~ 180°C
4. Heat the Sweet and Sour Sauce ingredients in a frying pan, and once it starts to bubble, throw in your fried meatballs. Simmer for a little while, and you're all done.
