Sweet and Salty Pork Udon Noodles

Pour lots of sweet and salty ground pork over the udon and enjoy!

Ingredients: 1 serving

Udon noodles
1 serving
Ground pork
100 g
Japanese leek or scallion
about 5 cm (for scallion, use 1 scallion)
Tubed garlic
about 1 cm
Tubed ginger
about 1cm
★Tianmianjiang (Chinese sweet bean paste)
1 teaspoon
★ Doubanjiang
as much s you like
★ Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
★ Sake
1 teaspoon
★ Sugar
1 teaspoon
★Chinese style soup base
1/2 teaspoon
★ Water
3 tablespoons
Katakuriko slurry
1 teaspoon
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Green onion or scallion
as much as you like
Poached egg


1. In a pan, heat the sesame oil and cook the tubed garlic and ginger.
2. After garlic and ginger become aromatic, add the pork and cook until brown.
3. Turn off the heat and add the ★ marked ingredients.
4. Turn on the heat and cook, stirring.
5. Turn off the heat again and add the katakuriko dissolved in water, stirring constantly. Turn on the heat and cook until the sauce becomes slightly thick.
6. Heat up the udon noodles in boiling water. Drain and serve in a plate.
7. Pour the sauce over the noodles and top with sliced scallions and poached eggs, and you're done.
8. Mix everything together and enjoy. It's super delicious.
