Refreshing Lemon Ice Cream

I made this ice cream by mixing whipped heavy cream and lemon juice. It has a refreshing taste, but it also has a slightly rich aftertaste.

Ingredients: 5 ~ 6 servings

Heavy cream
200 ml
5 tablespoons (50 g)
Lemon juice
1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
100 ml


1. Combine the heavy cream and sugar, and whip until firm.
2. Pour lemon juice and mix gently. (You can also add lemon pulps) Add milk, and mix some more.
3. Spread on a tray, and cover with plastic wrap. Let it sit for 2 hours in a freezer, then it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make yogurt ice cream so I whipped heavy cream. Then I realized that I only had a little bit of yogurt left at the bottom of the cup, so I added a lot of lemon juice and milk. Surprisingly they made the taste more refreshing and delicious than yogurt ice cream!
