Delightful Fresh Tomato and Genovese Pasta

Delightful Fresh Tomato and Genovese Pasta

Whip this up in a jiffy with store-bought basil paste. Even though the taste is simple, it's truly delicious.

Ingredients: 2 servings

200 g
Tomato (ripened)
3-4 small
Basil paste
2-3 tablespoons
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Salt and black pepper
to taste
Basil leaves
a handful

1. Peel the tomatoes after blanching in boiling water, then roughly chop.
2. Boil the spaghetti in a generous amount of salted boiling water.
3. Pour the olive oil in a frying pan and simmer the tomatoes until they start to lose shape. Be careful not to over cook them.
4. Once the tomatoes are cooked through and have lost shape, add the basil paste and thoroughly mix. Remove from heat.
5. Drain the boiled spaghetti, add the sauce and toss together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then serve!
