Easy Panko Toasted Hanpen

Just coat the hanpen in sauce, sprinkle bread crumbs, and toast 'em! An easy appetizer to enjoy the tasty combo of fluffy hanpen with crispy bread crumbs.

Ingredients

Hanpen
2 small
Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons
Milk
2 tablespoons
Krazy Salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste
Japanese mustard
to taste
Panko
as needed
Grated cheese
to taste

Steps

1. Combine mayonnaise, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl, and mix well.
2. Slice the hanpen into thirds, make a cut into the sides, and spread Japanese mustard. Cut these sections again into thirds to make cubes.
3. Coat the hanpen in the sauce, transfer to a heat-resistant dish, sprinkle with panko and grated cheese, then bake in an oven or toaster oven until golden brown.
4. Serve 'em up!

I wanted to eat some fried hanpen, but don't like deep fried foods, so I just toasted 'em!
