Potato Samosas

These are easy and make great snacks.

Ingredients

Potatoes
6 (small)
Onion
1
Gyoza skins
20-30 count
Ginger
1 piece
Red chili pepper
1
Butter
3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Garam masala
1 teaspoon
Curry powder
1 teaspoon
Cumin, turmeric (optional)
1/4-1/2 teaspoon

Steps

1. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and boil. Finely chop the rest of the vegetables.
2. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, and sauté the ginger and the onion.
3. Add the potatoes, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, salt, pepper, and the red chili pepper into the skillet from Step 2 and sauté well. Add the garam masala and remove the skillet from heat.
4. Wrap the sautéed mixture with the gyoza skins and deep-fry.
