Crispy & Delicious Meat-Wrapped Lotus Root

These are simple and taste great even when cool. Try them as a side dish at dinner.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Lotus root
100 g
Thinly sliced pork belly
50 g
Plain flour
as needed

Steps

1. Cut the lotus root into 5 mm thick slices, then cut each slice in half.
2. Wrap a slice of pork belly around each slice of lotus root and coat it in flour.
3. In a frying pan, cook both sides of the meat-wrapped lotus root with a little oil until browned.
