Wet 2 small square plates or molds, and spread the mixture, trying not to create air pockets.
Slide the mixture plate and all into a pot of boiling water. Simmer for 8 minutes.

I have to make anything that's not sold in a Japanese grocery store, so I tried making this.
You can use a hand mixer or a grinding bowl to process the mixture! If you can get a hold of fresh yams, grate them instead of using dried yamatoimo yam powder. (Attention: You can't eat yam raw. You can eat it if you cook it.)
