Okra, Natto, and Kimchi Rice Bowl

My husband is quite picky when it comes to food, but he digs into this dish in total silence whenever I make it. I recommend eating this by mixing it all up with a spoon and just shoveling it into your mouth

Ingredients: 2 servings

Okra
2 bags
Natto (fermented soy beans)
3 packs
Kimchi
to taste
Plain steamed rice
2 bowls
Soft-poached egg
2
Green onion
to taste
◎ Gochujang
1 teaspoon
◎ Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
◎ Mirin
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Briefly boil the okra and cut into rounds. Finely chop the green onion. Mix the natto with the sauce and Japanese mustard (to taste) that comes with it.
2. Mix together the ingredients marked ◎ (gochujan, soy sauce, mirin).
3. Put the rice in the servings bowls and top with okra and kimchi.
4. Put the egg and green onion on top of that.
5. Pour the combined sauce all over and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I'm not sure if this is a real recipe...it's just something I make when I'm tired. The sticky sliminess from the natto and okra is great. It's easy and delicous!
