Miso Soup with Kabocha Squash and Onion

The kabocha squash and onion make the soup sweet and tasty. My family's favorite soup.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Kabocha squash
about 1/4
Onion
about 1/2
Dried wakame seaweed
a little
Dashi stock
800 ml
Miso
to taste

Steps

1. Cut the ingredients into bite size pieces.
2. Simmer the ingredients in the dashi broth until softened. Add the dissolved miso, and it's done.

My husband doesn't like simmered kabocha squash, but I like them. I made this soup so that we both can enjoy the dish!
