Crunch Crunch Chinese-Flavored Cashews

These are delicious when they are still warm or when they are cold. They are great with beer, and addictive.

Ingredients: an easy to make amount

200 g
Sichuan pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon


1. Combine the Sichuan pepper powder and salt in a bowl.
2. Put the nuts in a frying pan and add enough vegetable oil to coat them. Slowly shallow fry them over low heat while stirring.
3. When the nuts are lightly browned, drain into a colander and pat the oil off lightly with paper towels.
4. Transfer the nuts to the Step 1 bowl while they are still hot. Stir it all up and it's done.
