Marinated Grilled Leek

This soft and sweet leek dish makes a perfect starter or accompaniment to a main meal.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Olive oil
2 teaspoons
● Wine vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons
● Olive oil
1 tablespoon
● Honey
1 heaping teaspoon
● Red chili pepper
to taste
● Salt and black pepper
to taste


1. Combine the ingredients marked with a ●. Wash the leek, and cut the white part into lengths of 3-4 cm.
2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and lightly stir-fry the surface of the leek.
3. Add 100 ml of water, put the lid on, and steam for 10-15 minutes until soft.
4. Drain the water, remove the leek from the pan, and marinate (for up to a few hours) in the ● sauce. Enjoy at room temperature.
