Bring water to a boil in a pot, add tea leaves, and simmer for a little while over low heat to extract the flavor. ☆ (Use 1 tea bag, or place the tea leaves into a tea bag makes the following steps easier.)
Add milk to the pot after the brewed tea is very strong, and heat. ☆(Taking out the tea leaves at this stage makes the following steps easier.)
Add marshmallows to the pot, and warm while stirring until they dissolve completely.
Let it sit for a while until it cools (See notes). Pour into containers a little at a time one by one (see notes). Refrigerate to chill, and the puddings are done. ☆
"Rirupo" made this with Lupicia Orange Chocolate tea, and it turned out really pretty.
Story Behind this Recipe
I bought a stockpile of marshmallows and had some left over, and I wanted to make a dessert to use them all up at once, so I made this.
Please adjust the amount of milk to suit your tastes (150 ml will make this rather sweet). In Step 4, if you pour the mixture into the cups while it's still hot it will be very bubbly, so please pour it in after letting it sit for a while. If you pour it into one bowl first and then add it bit by bit to individual cups, the bubbles will decrease, and it will be well balanced. You can play around with the tastes by using flavored black tea if you like. I made this with framboise (raspberry) flavored tea.
