Microbiotic Steamed Bread No. 1

I made a surprising steamed pan that's moist, heavy, and very sweet. The combination of ingredients may be surprising, but I guarantee this is a great recipe.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Brown rice flour (I used Rible Flower White)
100 g
1 medium
Natto (fermented soy beans)
1 pack (50 g)


1. Grate the carrot without peeling it. Mix the natto well.
2. Add the brown rice to the carrot and natto from Step 1 and mix well until even.
3. Steam the ingredients from Step 2. If microwaving, set the microwave at 500 W for about 10 minutes. If using a steamer, it should take about 8 minutes.
4. This is what it looks like when cut. If there isn't enough moisture, add a bit of water.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had 1 carrot and some natto left over. I love making steamed bread, and wondered what would happen if I mixed these ingredients into the dough. I decided to give it a try. The result was a very fulfilling, surprising deliciousness, if I do say so myself!!
