Easy Microwave 'Amazake' Sweet Rice Malt Steamed Bread

A super-speedy steamed bread that only calls for two ingredients!! Just mix and microwave for 3 minutes. It's great for the 'Hinamatsuri' Girl's Day Festival.

Ingredients: 1 square ziploc tupperware container

Pancake mix
100 g
Amazake (sweet rice malt)
120 g


1. Put the ingredients into a bowl and mix until evenly distributed. If you're going to cook this in the ziploc container, you can mix it directly in the container.
2. Put into the container and smooth the top. Lightly cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes at 600 W. When a toothpick or skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean, it is done.
3. It's all puffed up. To make in a muffin pan, divide the dough into fourths and cook one at a time for about 50 seconds at 600W.
4. Cut and enjoy!
