15-Minute Chocolate Cake

This chocolate cake is deliciously fluffy just out of the oven and moist when cool. All you have to do is mix the ingredients together and bake it in the microwave, so this cake won't even take you 15 minutes It's just that simple.

Ingredients: one 22 cm diameter round tin

Pancake mix
1 bag (200 g)
Cocoa powder
3 tablespoons
5 tablespoons
150 ml (10 tablespoons)
Vegetable oil
60 ml (4 tablespoons)


1. Place the pancake mix, cocoa, and sugar into a bowl and mix them together with a whisk until the color of the mixture is even. There's no need to sift the ingredients.
2. Next, pour in the milk and vegetable oil and mix everything together. Lastly, break the eggs into the mixture and combine until evenly mixed.
3. Lightly grease a cake tin with vegetable oil (not listed) and pour in the batter from Step 2.
4. Bake the cake in the microwave (600 W) for 10 minutes.

Story Behind this Recipe

When I was in the middle of exams so had no spare time. Even so, I really wanted to make a cake so I tried to think of something quick that I could just mix together and put in the microwave. It came out unexpectedly delicious! I measured the ingredients with spoons for even less washing up too.
