Microwaved Paper-Wrapped Steamed Salmon With Yummy Miso-Mayonnaise Sauce!

Easy paper-wrapped steamed salmon (en papillote) made in the microwave. The miso-mayonnaise sauce is so nutty and delicious!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Raw or lightly salted salmon
2 pieces
1/2 large
King oyster mushrooms
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
1 bunch
To taste


1. If using raw salmon, sprinkle with salt. I used lightly salted salmon this time. Put the salmon filet on a piece of kitchen parchment paper.
2. Slice the onion thinly, and cut the king oyster mushrooms up into easy to eat pieces. Put both on top of the salmon. (You can add the spinach later on the side, or add it at this stage.)
3. Mix the ◎ ingredients (1 tablespoon miso, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon mirin) together, and spoon over the salmon and vegetables.
4. Wrap up the salmon packets and place on the edges of the microwave oven turntable. Microwave for 7 minutes at 700w. Adjust the cooking time depending on your microwave.
5. it's best if the sauce is a bit browned!
6. Wash the spinach and drain. Cut it up, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Cook the carrots according to Recipe ID: 310342 to make easy sweet carrots.
