Potato Salad With Tarako

It's just like the salad that you get a certain famous restaurant!

Ingredients

Potatoes
(Mashed) 400 g
Tarako (salt-cured cod or pollack roe)
80 g
Mayonnaise
4 tablespoons
Sugar
a bit less than 1 teaspoon
Vinegar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon
Green onion or scallion, chopped
2 to 3 tablespoons

Steps

1. Microwave or boil the potatoes.
2. Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar together.
3. Mix the tarako into the mixture from Step 2.
4. Mash the potatoes while they are still hot.
5. Add the combined sauce from Step 3 to the still warm mashed potatoes. Taste, and adjust the seasoning.
6. Add the finely chopped green onion and chill in the refrigerator.
