Sautéed Hanpen Seasoned with Mentsuyu and Ao-nori Seaweed

Ever since I made Kyoku's "Frugal Recipe Hanpen and Abura-age (fried tofu) Egg Dish " I've been hooked on the combo of hanpen and ao-nori.
It's easy and so tasty!!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Hanpen
1
Onion
1, small
Aonori
about 1 tablespoon
Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
a splash
Butter or margarine
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Thinly slice the onion into wedges. Cut the hanpen into bite-sized pieces.
2. Melt butter in a pan, and sauté the onion until tender.
3. Add the hanpen to the onions from Step 2. Pour in a splash of mentsuyu, then sprinkle on aonori.
4. Of course, this recipe also works with chikuwa!
