Crab Stick Omelet Roll

The texture of fluffy eggs with crab sticks and dashi stock is amazing. This is a delicious and cute bento dish.


Imitation crab sticks
Dashi stock
less than 1 tablespoon
a small amount
Umami seasoning
a small amount
Olive oil
as needed


1. Break a egg into a bowl. Add salt, umami seasoning, and dashi stock. Especially beat the egg white well, and incorporate.
2. Cut the imitation crab sticks to fit in a tamagoyaki pan.
3. Heat olive oil in a tamagoyaki pan. When the pan is warm, pour in half of the egg mixture, and turn the heat down to low.
4. Lay the crab sticks and roll it towards you.
5. When it's done, push it to the other side of the pan, and pour the rest of the egg mixture in the empty space.
6. Roll again towards you. Place the roll joint-side down, and fry for a little while.
7. Cut into 4 even pieces, and it's done.
