Chinese Cabbage Ankake

This is a heartwarming dish perfect for those times when you're busy and strapped for cash.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chinese cabbage
4 leaves
Carrot
4 cm
Pork belly
100 g
Spinach
a little
Onion
1/4
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon
Mirin
1 tablespoon
Ginger root
a small amount
Water
200 ml
Katakuriko
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Cut the pork belly into small pieces, chop the ginger, and stir-fry.
2. When they have lightly cooked, add the finely julienned Chinese cabbage, thinly-sliced carrot, and sliced onions and fry. Add the water, soy sauce, sake, and mirin. Add the cooked spinach and boil.
3. Dissolve the 2 tablespoons of katakuriko with 2 tablespoons of water and pour into the pan and combining with the rest of the ingredients.
