Sicilian Steamed Cauliflower

All you have to do for this simple dish is cut the cauliflower, put into a saucepan and cover it up. Steamed vegetables are so delicious!

Ingredients: 2 to 4 servings

White wine
about 1 cup
Extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
to taste
Grated cheese
as needed


1. Separate the cauliflower into florets and rinse, then put into a saucepan.
2. Add the olive oil, wine, salt and pepper. Cover the saucepan and simmer.
3. After 5 minutes, stir quickly and cover again, cooking for another 5 to 10 minutes. When the excess water has evaporated, it is done. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle grated cheese and serve while piping hot.
