Baked Cauliflower with Mentaiko and Mayonnaise

Cauliflower is bland, but baking with mentaiko (salt-cured spicy cod or pollock roe) and mayonnaise adds sweetness and more flavor.

30 g


1. Wash the cauliflower well, cut into small pieces, and microwave. You could add broccoli.
2. Mash the mentaiko in a plastic bag, remove the membrane, and combine with mayonnaise. Cut a corner of the bag to make an icing bag. Lay the cauliflower in a heatproof dish, and squeeze the mixture on top.
3. Bake in the oven at 250℃/482℉ until golden brown, and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw a local cauliflower recipes on TV. Mixing the cauliflower with mentaiko and mayonnaise was one of them and I arranged it. I baked it until golden brown to add fragrance.
