To Serve With Ramen: Garlic Bean Sprouts

With just a little effort, your homemade ramen will be drastically upgraded. This recipe is very easy so you should give it a try.

Ingredients: 3 to 4 servings

Bean sprouts
1 bag (250 g)
Grated garlic
1 tablespoon (up to 1 1/2 tablespoons, to taste)
Grated ginger
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount


1. Spread some oil (sesame oil would be good) thinly on a frying pan, and stir fry the bean sprouts over medium heat. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Turn the heat down to low, add the grated garlic and ginger and mix in. That's it. (If you don't lower the heat, the grated garlic will splatter...)

Story Behind this Recipe

We don't have a good ramen restaurant near us, so I'm always working on improving my homemade ramen.
I wrote down 3 to 4 servings, but in our house, we divide the whole amount between the two of us and have our ramen with a mountain of bean sprouts.
