Rip up the lettuce with your hands, and soak in water to crisp up. Drain and dry well. Cut the crab sticks into 4 cm and shred. Scramble the egg finely.
Put the mayonnaise and Japanese mustard in a bowl and mix. Add the ingredients from Step 1 to the bowl and mix well. Taste, and add salt if needed.
Transfer to serving plates and it's done. It's also delicious with pepper as an accent.

A coworker taught me this recipe when I was working.
Mix this salad together just before eating or it will become watery. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise and mustard to taste. Wilted lettuce crisps up better if you soak it in lukewarm water rather than cold water! Really!! You can make fried rice with the crab sticks and eggs.
