Cut the crab sticks into 3cm pieces, and shred finely with your hands. Cut the lettuce into small pieces.
Heat a pan well until it's smoking lightly, and add a generous amount of oil. Add the beaten egg and mix quickly.
Add the rice immediately and stir fry while mixing with the egg. Add the crab sticks and continue stir frying.
Season with salt and pepper, and drizzle the soy sauce on the hot surface of the pan so that it browns a bit. Stir fry everything together to combine.
Add the lettuce at the end and turn off the heat immediately. Mix the lettuce through and it's done. ☆

The fried rice they serve at a ramen restaurant I go to often is delicious, so I tried re-creating it.
Use a generous amount of oil to make the eggs fluffy and the rice grains nice and separated. Add a little butter to taste to make it even more delicious! Very occasionally, I run into sweet crab sticks. They're not good in this. I had a failure the other day with ones like that...
