Cut the broccoli apart into florets and parboil. Cut the chicken up into large pieces, and slice the onion. Cut the mushrooms up into easy to eat pieces.
Heat up a frying pan and add the garlic margarine. Sauté the chicken until it's about 80% cooked, then add the onion and mushroom and sauté until cooked.
Add the béchamel sauce to the pan and heat until bubbly. Add the cooked broccoli, add some heavy cream to make the sauce smooth, and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper and it's done! Please add the cream to your taste - it's delicious.
This is the garlic margarine I used for this.
Story Behind this Recipe
Chicken is delicious just sauteed in garlic margarine, but I thought it would be even better in cream sauce.
Using plenty of garlic margarine makes this delicious. It can burn easily so be careful. You can use any vegetables you have on hand such as cauliflower, carrot, shimeji mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms. Add some heavy cream at the end to make it richer. If you don't have any garlic margarine, use regular margarine mixed with finely chopped garlic.
