Goya & Crispy Pork Tossed with Chilli Mayo

Goya & Crispy Pork Tossed with Chilli Mayo

A richly-flavoured salad really goes well with beer. This dish tastes great chilled.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Thinly sliced pork shoulder
200 g
Red onion
Sweet chilli sauce
2 tablespoons
Fish sauce
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Cake flour

1. Clean out the inside of the goya and slice it into 3 mm thick slices. Thinly slice the red onion. Coat the pork with a thin layer of flour, shake off the excess, and slice it in half.
2. Combine the sweet chilli sauce, fish sauce, mayonnaise, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Then add the red onion.
3. Heat up some vegetable oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the goya. Add the goya to the Step 2 bowl.
4. Add more oil to the pan, spread out the pork, and pan-fry until crispy. Put on a paper towel to remove excess grease and then add it to the bowl. Mix everything together.

Story Behind this Recipe

Someone tried a yum woon sen recipe and added flavour with fish sauce and mayonnaise. I took this and added some sweet chilli sauce to make my own recipe.
