Potato & Meat Baked Pilaf

This meaty baked pilaf is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Potatoes
2-3 (300 g)
Milk
300 ml
Butter
20 g
Salt
a small amount
White pepper
a pinch
Cheese that melts easily
80 g
Meat Sauce (Recipe ID: 2615068)
80 ml
Turmeric Rice:
White rice
200 g
Chicken soup stock (Recipe ID: 1024547)
230 ml
Butter
10 g
Turmeric
1/4 teaspoon

Steps

1. Wash the rice and place in a colander for 1 hour. Place all of the turmeric rice ingredients into the rice cooker bowl. Lightly stir and then cook the rice.
2. Boil the potato with the skin for 20 minutes over low heat in a large amount of water. Cover with a lid and leave it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, peel the skin while still hot and then mash the potato.
3. Place the potato in a pot and add 200 ml of milk and the butter. Turn on the heat and cook until smooth. Once smooth, add 100 ml of milk and stir well.
4. Once thoroughly combined, add 80 g of the cheese. Let the cheese melt as you stir it in. Taste the flavor and adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
5. Once the turmeric rice has cooked, arrange in a plate and flatten it out. Top with the potato sauce and then place the meat sauce in the center.
6. Optionally top with Parmesan cheese or topping cheese that melts. Bake in the toaster oven until browned for 7-8 minutes. Then you're all done!
