Tomato Sauce Chilled Somen Noodles

I love somen noodles! In the summer season, I prepare them in various ways so that I don't tire of them. This recipe tops the noodles with tomato chunks and shiso leaves.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Somen noodles
1 bundle
1/2 to 1
Shiso leaves
5 to 0 leaves
☆ Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
☆ Sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon
☆Grated ginger
1 teaspoon
as needed


1. Boil the somen noodles. Cut the tomato into cubes and julienne the shiso leaves. Mix the ☆ ingredients for the dressing.
2. Rinse the cooked noodles under running water, transfer to ice cold water for a while, then drain well. Serve them up in a dish with the noodle sauce and top with the salad. Done.
3. If you prefer, use parboild tomatoes with their skins peeled.
