Egg Cream

Egg creams are delicious and easy to make. They taste just like milk shakes, but are a lot healthier! They go really well with burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Whole milk (or half and half)
half a glass (or to taste)
Carbonated water
half a glass (or to taste)
Chocolate syrup
1 1/2 tablespoons (or to taste)


1. Prepare your ingredients. You can start out by pouring the chocolate syrup into your glass.
2. Add the milk to the chocolate syrup. Mix thoroughly so that it dissolves well.
3. Continue to mix vigorously while pouring in the carbonated water.
4. Then you're done! Mmmm... Look how creamy and frothy the top is!

Story Behind this Recipe

I had an egg cream in an old diner in Brooklyn last year and got hooked! Since they're really easy to make, I started making them at home, too.
