Healthy Homemade Granola

Healthy Homemade Granola

This is a recipe for a mildly sweet, healthy, and sugar-free granola. The scent of coconut is irresistible! You can enjoy this granola with yogurt or with fruits.

Ingredients: 1 medium jar

150 g
Shredded coconut
50 g
Roasted almonds
30 g
Pumpkin seeds
30 g
Olive oil
30 g
45 g
Dried cranberries
40 g

1. Preheat oven to 160℃. Coarsely chop the almonds.
2. Measure the oatmeal, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and coconuts and add to a bowl. Stir well to combine.
3. Put the honey and olive oil in a cocotte or a heat-resistant container and microwave for 20-30 seconds to dissolve the honey in the olive oil.
4. Pour the honey mixture into the bowl from Step 2 and mix well with a spatula.
5. Once the mixture is evenly combined and moistened, spread the mixture on a baking sheet. Bake for about half an hour. Stir the mixture in the middle of baking to make sure it browns evenly.
6. It's done when it's evenly browned. Mix the cranberries into the mixture and let cool.
7. Once it's cooled, transfer to a jar.
8. It's great in an acai bowl.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made my first granola after watching the TV show "bills" and I just loved it. I came up with an easier recipe that uses simple ingredients.
