Baked Cod Fillet with Salted Lemon in Kitchen Foil

You won't have any pot or frying pan to wash up.
This is a very fragrant dish with refreshing salted lemons.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Fresh cod fillets
White wine or sake
1 tablespoon
Salted lemon (Recipe ID: 2548106)
2 pieces
Onion (small)
Green peppers
1 slice
Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste
Extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon
Alumnimum foil (25 cm x 30 cm)
2 pieces

1. Sprinkle white wine over the cod fillets. Use the plastic tray in which the fish was sold to reduce your labour.
2. Place a fillet on a piece of aluminum foil. Sprinkle with coarsely ground black pepper. As cod is lean, pour over 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil.
3. Place a piece of salted lemon on the cod fillet.
4. Use fresh lemon if salted lemons (Recipe ID: 2548106) are not available! Sprinkle more salt over the cod if that is the case.
5. Place the sliced onion on top...
6. Place the green peppers on top...
7. Place the bacon on top. Fold and seal the aluminum foil.
8. Fold and seal the aluminum foil.
9. You can use a frying pan to steam but I recommend a toaster oven as you don't need to wash up. Bake for 15-20 minutes!
10. Pour over some ponzu or soy sauce to your liking.
