Easy Green Bean and Bacon Salad

My children love this salad.
No matter how much I make, they usually eat all of it.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Green beans
roughly 30-40
3 slices
2-3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Mustard (a small amount is fine for children)
a small amount


1. Remove the ends from the green beans and boil until soft. Cut the bacon into pieces of roughly 5 mm width.
2. Cut the boiled green beans into bite-size pieces.
3. Put the green beans and bacon in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise, salt, pepper and mustard, and mix. It's ready to eat.
4. You can also use Japanese mustard instead of regular mustard.

Story Behind this Recipe

When I was single and in hospital I got this delicious salad from another person who was in the same hospital room as me so I tried recreating it.
My family (especially the children!) love it so I made it into a recipe.
