Slice half the amount of watermelon and kiwi into small pieces and put in the freezer.
Boil the tapioca as instructed on the packet. Pour a sufficient amount into a glass.
Blend the watermelon, lemon juice, liqueur of your choice and honey in a mixer, then pour it into the glass. Add a little water if the frozen fruit is hard to blend.
Wash the mixer, then blend the kiwi. Gently pour it over the watermelon slush. Add some water if it is hard to blend.
You'll need very fat straws so you can suck up the tapioca. Don't forget to buy them when you buy the tapioca!
Story Behind this Recipe
I like black pearl tapioca, so I make this drink with different fruits.
I used peach liqueur this time. If you are making this for kids or people who don't like alcohol, you can omit it. The watermelon and kiwi are frozen, so they shouldn't mix. However, anything with a high sugar content will sink to the bottom, so don't add any sweetener to the kiwi. This will ensure clean layers of each ingredient.
