Oyako Don with Asparagus and Egg

It's easy to make if you flavor it with kombu-based mentsuyu. Serve on rice with half cooked creamy eggs and asparagus. The texture and refreshing flavor of asparagus are delicous!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Asparagus
50 g
Egg
4
Chicken thigh meat
100 g
Onion
100 g
Kombu based mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
50 ml
Water
150 ml
Cooked white rice
2 bowls' worth

Steps

1. Cut the asparagus diagonally, the chicken into bite-sized pieces, and the onion into wedges.
2. Boil the mentsuyu and water in a pot. Add the chicken and onions.
3. When it's cooked, pour in the beaten eggs and add the asparagus.
4. When it's half cooked, turn off the heat.
5. Pour Step 4 over a bowl of rice. You're all done.
