Easy Wine-Steamed Clams & Cabbage

This dish is filled with the flavorful essence of clams.
The sweet spring cabbage and onions are steamed together with white wine.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

◎Olive oil
1 tablespoon
◎Garlic (grated)
1 piece
☆Manila clams
180 g
☆Bacon (thick slices)
60 g
Cherry tomatoes
50 ml
White wine
2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
to taste
Parsley (minced
to taste


1. Remove the sand and salt water from the clams. For details, see "How to Remove Sand from Clams" Recipe ID: 2538269.
2. Chop the cabbage and onion into bite-sized pieces. I used thickly sliced bacon.
3. Heat the ingredients in the frying pan. Add the ingredients and cook for 30 seconds. Lightly stir together.
4. Add the cherry tomatoes and then pour in the water followed by the white wine. Cover with a lid and steam on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
5. Lastly, season with salt and pepper. Arrange everything, including the flavorful juices on a dish and garnish with parsley to finish.
