Teriyaki Mayonnaise Natto Pasta for Lunch at Home

Teriyaki Mayonnaise Natto Pasta for Lunch at Home

You might initially feel slightly awkward with this natto pasta, but seriously, it's so tasty. If you're a natto lover, you must try this... I'm not even joking.

Ingredients: 1 serving

100 g
1/2 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
☆Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
1 pack
as much as you like
Shredded nori seaweed
to taste

1. Bring a decent amount of water to a boil and cook the spaghetti. (Cook 1 minute shorter than the instructed time on the package.)
2. Add all the ☆ ingredients into a serving dish and mix it up.
3. Mix the natto with its accompanying sauce.
4. When the spaghetti is done, drain it in a colander. Transfer into the serving dish from Step 2 and mix everything up lightly.
5. Here's the fun part: put the natto from Step 3 in the middle and make a dent for the egg.
6. Wow, the egg settled there quite nicely. Crack the egg into the dent. I usually use a whole egg, but just the yolk could work as well.
7. Top with as much mayonnaise as you'd like!
8. Scatter some shredded nori seaweed and enjoy.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw this dish at some restaurant. I wouldn't have the guts to eat this outside, but there's no problem at home - besides, it's so inexpensive!!
