Boiled Komatsuna & Deep-Fried Tofu

It's almost too easy to be called a recipe!

Ingredients: 2 servings

1 bunch (60 g)
1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
★Soy sauce
1/2 scant teaspoon
★Dashi stock granules
1/2 scant teaspoon


1. Wash the komatsuna and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut the aburaage in half and then thinly slice. Pour boiling water over the aburaage to remove the oil if you prefer.
2. Transfer the komatsuna and aburaage to a heat-resistant dish. Pour over the ★ ingredients. Loosely cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 and 1/2 minutes at 600 W. Stir it well and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

The expiration date on my aburaage was for the next day.
So, I combined it with the komatsuna I had sitting in the fridge and stuck it in the microwave!
It surprisingly came out pretty good.
