Sweet & Salty Teriyaki Tsukune Patties

Simple tsukune with a delicious and thick sweet and salty flavor. If you have any left over, refrigerate and use in a bento lunch box.

Ingredients: makes 12

Chicken minced meat (Please see in Helpful Hints)
300 g
Welsh Onion
1/2 stalk
Egg
1
Panko
4 tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon
Sugar
1/2 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Mirin
4 tablespoons

Steps

1. Combine the minced onion, meat, egg whites, panko, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and pepper, and mix until it becomes sticky. You'll use the egg yolk when serving.
2. Make into 12 round patties (see in the Helpful Hints), and cook both sides golden brown in a vegetable oil-covered frying pan .
3. Add the sake, then add the sugar, mirin, and soy sauce. Simmer while turning the patties over.
